Hey, fellow joeys, the Moila Shrine Clowns are hosting a combination swap meet/ educational seminar/ golf outing on Friday, June 11 and Saturday, June 12, 2010. Any clown wanting to buy, sell, or trade any clown related items may do so at the Friday evening swap meet. Saturday morning, a condensed educational seminar starts out the day, followed by a "clowns in grease only" 9-hole golf outing. Ladies and family members may enjoy the pool and patio while the clown "business" is being tended to. Any ISCA or CSSCA Shrine Clown is invited. For more info, use my e-mail or call 816-364-2792. Packets containing registration forms and info have been sent to all CSSA temples. We hope to have this become an annual event if participation warrants. All net proceeds go to the ISCA Sneaker Fund. See ya at Moila!!!
I am the President of the Moila Shrine Clowns. We are having a Clown Seminar on June 11 and 12th. Please contact me and i can get you the registration forms.
Hello to our (hopefully) many clown friends. We have had the pleasure of performing our goofy comedy magic act at so many clown conventions over the years and feel we are as much apart of the clown world as the magic world. We have always felt that the clown convention audiences were the best in the world... if you do your very best to make comedy matter, then laughter will follow.I just wanted to say hello to any and all who may have had the fortune (or mis-fortune) to see us perform. I'm now on facebook as *** Kohlhafer (not Kohl and Company). Would be great to hear from some of our friends out of the past.Take care and as Red would say "God Bless"Dick Kohlhafer (The Great Kohl of Kohl and Company)

Hello, I write from Italy, working as a baby-sitter and I deal with children's entertainment, for some 'time in practice even clown therapy. I am looking for an ***ociation or a group of any kind (in the USA, preferably in California), an archive where they are available some names of psychiatrists and child psychologists that practice even clown therapy, especially in cases of children who have been abused all ' inside or outside the household. Could you kindly tell me who I could contact? Anyone with information can write me here or contact: Thanks

After I saw my post from yesterday, not only did I see how botched it came out, but I left out a thing or two, as well: My MySpace page, is dedicated to all of you Shriners. I have a few things there, a couple notes/comments, a Thank You letter, as well as a photo show. Also, as a matter of an "FYI", another former patient and I have been in contact with other Shriners, Tampa's office and looking for other Shriners Kids. We want, and feel that it is high time, for the National Shriners Kids ***ociation, or NSKA.This is being very well received by those in Tampa and by Kids that have been located. I have a couple fromn the 1940's, I'm from the 1950's thru 1971 and current patients are really excited about this!! We would be very honored to add you folks as 'interested parties', in this quest... After all, you make it possible for the delivery of the most powerfull medicine on the planet -- a smile!!!
I wish to extend my most heart felt Thank You to you all -- I was and still am a Shriners kid and a former patient at the "old" Salt Lake City hospital.as i've mentioned to other Shrine clowns, you folks gave us a smile and we got to forget, even for a short time, that we were in a hospital because of your antics. We all know, and Megan has it on the money -- clowns do make a difference!! Love the new site....great effort by the leadership of ISCA. I am very fond of the chat room. I think that thre should be a monthly chat set up like the 2nd tuesday of each month, advertise it in clown alley, and have a grand time talking about current events, makeup, costumes, judging critera, education, and lotsof other stuff.Remember a laugh is a smile that has explodedTom "Uno" JohnsonEl RiadSioux Falls, SD
Hi, I am with Relay For life an event by the American Cancer Society. You may have heard of our event. I am in charge if the kids corner. See there parents have committed to help fight cancer by walking around a track for 24 hrs. taking turns with there team. Ihave put together games, pie eating contest, watermelon eating contest,, and a couple more activities, but have not been able to get anyone to donate there time for balloons and face painting. This morning i'm driving down my parents alley in Northridge and I see the elephant that has been there for about 20 yrs. now, starring at me. Then it hit me "The Woodland Hills Shriners" -I see them in the parade every year. If anyone reads this and would like to do-nate an hour or so this Sat. May30 2009 Birmingham high schol in Van Nuys. Please contact me818-618-0559. Thank you!!!
